VCÖ-Mobilitätspreis for „TrafficCheck.at“ At the 20th VCÖ-Mobilitätspreis Styria was celebrating a great success. Besides the City Council Graz with the campaign „Die Stadt liegt dir zu Füßen“ and the project Nahverkehrsdrehscheibe Graz IKK was honored for the online platform „TrafficCheck.at“ in the category „Technological Infrastructure“. The awards show took place at the 27th of September 2011.

Development of a new Gabion-Noise Barrier Cassette IKK has designed a new „ABSORBING gabion“ in form of a standardised noise barrier cassette in the course of a noise protection project of the Government of Styria FA 18A. The building development and the procedure of the necessary tests of the sound technology were done by the Company Scherf.
The new stone noise barrier cassettes were already used successfully in Styria Pichl Knoppen.

Official opening Münzbacher Feeder Part 2 – Upper Austria Our company’s founder Hans Kriebernegg PhD MSc. was significant involved in planning and realizing the Münzbacher Feeder Part 2 in his active times as traffic engineer. Those efforts were highly valued by the head of the provincial government Franz Hiesl during the opening festivities on the 7th of June 2009.

S6 Semmering Schnellstraße – Ganzsteintunnel in all-out operation
The about 3.8 km long building lot Ganzsteintunnel contained the construction of the tunnel sections south, the general reconstruction of the existing tunnel sections (about 2.1 km) and the four-laning in front of the tunnel portals. On the 27th of March 2009 the reconstructed tunnel sections were put into operation in presence of political representatives. The new constructed tunnel sections were completed at the end of July 2008.
IKK performed the following planning services: Ø Traffic planning (lettering on bottom and traffic signing) Ø Operational concept reconstruction phase Ø Construction site logistic Ø Incident matrices (reconstruction phase and overall completion) Ø Coordination with public authorities
