The company was originally founded in 1976 by Hans Kriebernegg
with core competences in transport planning and road design. Bernhard
Kaufmann, who was an executive employee of Mr. Kriebernegg for many years,
founded his own civil engineering office in 1991 with the main work area of
structural engineering. In 1998 both offices were merged into one. The new
company was called IKK ZT-OEG, which is a shortcut for “Ingenieurgemeinschaft
Kaufmann-Kriebernegg”. In the same year a new office building in
With the retirement of Hans Kriebernegg at the beginning of the year 2008 the company’s legal form was changed into IKK ZT-GmbH. In March 2008 in addition to Bernhard Kaufmann, Georg Kriebernegg became chief executive officer.
